Today is special, it's Mum's birthday 🩷 This photo was taken many moons ago, capturing a truly happy moment in time. Mum's story is quite similar to mine, as she changed career in her fifties, retraining and starting her own business in Beauty Therapy. In her later years, she worked at Dove House providing beauty therapy treatments for ladies in their final stages of life. Today, Bella Brow Studio received confirmation from Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora, as an approved supplier of hair loss treatments due to cancer, alopecia, endometriosis or thyroid. This is one of those situations where you don’t want to see the brows before. Let’s just say choose your artist wisely … Following our initial consult, a series of laser removal treatments was recommended to lift the dark black ink from the skin. (There is some residual pink which will have a final tidy up with saline removal) A combination of pigments was applied to neutralise the pink tone adding a soft warmth. The brow shape was tricky. Mapping to lift and open the eye area whilst covering the previous work.
